Sustainable practices for the planet are widely discussed.  We have made several choices we believe will improve the sustainability of our planet and our business.  These include:

• Using FSC or 100% recycled paper
• Minimize paper use by printing on both sides of the paper and use of digital documents whenever possible.
• Recycle as much as we can
• Reduce energy use by using natural daylight, turning off equipment at night, buying Energy Start rated office equipment
• Reducing waste by avoiding single use items like water bottles and eating utensils and delaying equipment purchases until they are truly needed.
• Avoid overnight delivery services unless necessary for immediate transactions.  Using ground shipping instead which only takes an extra day or two buy has a much lower energy use.
• We work with our vendors to improve their practices.
• We try to purchase what we need locally as much as possible to encourage our local economy and cut down on shipment costs.
